YOUR CART, THEIR COURSE
We all know golf carts were initially designed for the golf course before we started adapting them to use for pleasure around our home, campgrounds, cities, work, etc. But did you know… you may be able to use your personal golf cart on your favorite course!
How cool is that? Playing a round of golf in your custom cart, perhaps equipped with premium seats, a stereo, an enclosure or more… would totally enhance the experience, don’t you agree?
Our team here at Viers Golf Cars also loves to golf which is why we thought it would be super cool to assemble a list of courses which allow use of your personal Golf Car… Since we couldn’t find a list on the internet, we decided to do the work by calling every-single-golf-course within 50 miles of our location here in Lapeer, Michigan… and share the results with you!
It’s important to note, several restrictions may apply. Here are some of the common requirements we’ve encountered…
- Turf Tires: Most courses will have restrictions on your tire tread pattern.
- Drivetrain: Some courses restrict use to Electric Golf Carts only.
- Colors: Some courses restrict use to specific colored Golf Carts only.
- Membership: Some courses permit use of personal Golf Carts for Members only.
In addition to some of the Golf Cart requirements, many courses will charge a small “trail fee” to use your cart on their course. This helps them offset wear & tear to their trails and greens.
Please note, we can NOT guarantee the accuracy of this list which is why we suggest you confirm their policy upon scheduling your tee time.
If you encounter any errors in our list, or if you can provide information about the policies of courses not yet listed, please let us know so we can keep this information as current and accurate as possible.
And one last thing… please respect the rules of the golf course while operating your golf car. Participating courses offer this as a privilege we do not want to lose!
